New modular, certified laser safety curtain In order to stay abreast of the increasing need of large area laser protection LASERVISION is offering a new, modular laser safety curtain with high protection levels (certified acc. to DIN EN 12254).
The new, significantly lighter, multi layer laser safety curtain stands out due to high flexibility in his configuration. For that purpose two standard modules (panels) are available in 94cm or 47cm width. These modules can be connected on both sides by Velco straps (standard). As an alternative solution panels can be mounted with overlapping eyelets on the carrier system (cable, rail or rod). Independent of the original dimension of the ordered curtain this gives the opportunity to match the total width of the curtain and the application afterwards.

At the same time this offers the opportunity to access a laser application specific to the need or in general to ensure access to escape ways easily.
On request the panels can be connected also by magnetic stripes or manufactured without any connector (Velco).
As in the past the curtain can be mounted in frames or can be combined with the LASERVISION profile system. The combination of barriers, lamellas and window modules results in a great variety of possible configurations matching each application.

The material does not transmit any light and is suitable for all common laser wavelenghts : from UV-lasers (starting at 180 nm) to CO2-lasers at 10600 nm.

As an absolute novelty, Laservision offers besides the laser safety curtain also 300 nm wide flexible laser protection slats, which are fixed side by side on mounts with an overlap of 100 nm, enabling the user to separate different areas in line with their individual needs.
