Si Blanks - Infrared Optics
Cimcoop Holding Ltd
Cimcoop specializes in growing single crystal Silicon and processing it to flat and spherical blanks that find multiple applications in transmissive infrared optics and CO2 lasers.
Single crystal silicon growth:We are able to pull ingots with diameters of up to 160 mm (6.3 inches) which can be either transmission or mirror grade.
Transmission grade is guaranteed to have transmission of at least 52% (uncoated) in the 2 to 5 micron range while mirror grade is not guaranteed with respect to transmission and is therefore suitable for mirror substrates.

Sliced silicon blanks: Cimcoop offers sliced single crystal Silicon substrates that come in a variety of shapes and dimensions. The most common ones are round plane blanks, wedges and pregenerated lenses, which are ready for final processing. Diameters for plane blanks range between 5 and 150 mm.
Features:
  • Diameter: 5 to 150 mm (for spherical blanks, diameters of less than 5 mm are also available)
  • Dimensional tolerance: ±0.05 mm
  • Flatness: Up to 5 μm depending on the size
  • Parallelism: Up to 3 arc min
  • Micro-roughness: Ra up to 1 μm
