| Thin Film Plate Polarizer, 45° |
These polarizers are the best choice when both high laser damage threshlod and a 90 degree reflection angle are necessary.
Main specifications :
- Input angle 45deg so beams are separated by 90deg like a cube polarizer
- Lower TWD than a cube: < l/8 gtd, l/10 typical
- High laser damage threshold > 10J/cm2 (tested to 25.8J)
- Larger CA than Brewster angle polarizers (because of angle, 45 is < 56)
- Transmission efficiency Tp > 97%; Ext ratio Tp/Ts > 500:1
- No angle tuning required!

- High damage thresholds: >20J/cm², 8ns pulse; 100w/cm², CW at 515nm typical
- Substrate material: UV grade fused Silica glass or BK4 glass
