    Thin Film Plate Polarizer, 45°
    These polarizers are the best choice when both high laser damage threshlod and a 90 degree reflection angle are necessary.

    Main specifications :
    • Input angle 45deg so beams are separated by 90deg like a cube polarizer
    • Lower TWD than a cube: < l/8 gtd, l/10 typical
    • High laser damage threshold > 10J/cm2 (tested to 25.8J)
    • Larger CA than Brewster angle polarizers (because of angle, 45 is < 56)

    Serie TFP: Thin film plate are the best choice when maximum damage resistance is necessary.
    TFP polarizers are used for fluence greater than 500mJ/cm², where calcite air-spaced cannot be used.
    Two typical applications are: Q-swicth hold-off polarizer and in conjonction with half waveplate as an extracavity attenuator for Nd:YAG laser fundamental and its harmonics
